Primal Rage II
Primal Rage 2 was supposed to be the sequal to Primal Rage. The game was supposed to answer to the format of arcade machine hardware which was the use of a hard drive. The game had a new competitor and that was Killer Instinct 1 and 2 which the game seems to have a resemblance to. The game supposed to have humans who can morph into the Dino-Gods kind of like Bloody Roar. The Game was supposed to have a much more in depth fighting style than Primal Rage had. The game was never released due to Atari Games seeing the game as not profitable and was canned for that. The game allowed the Dino-Gods to be selected if the player selected the human avatar of that god and help up on that avatar for 2 seconds (however it is 4 seconds on real hardware, Example: If you hold up on Arik, Sauron will be selected. The game was canned when it reached Version 0.36A the "A" most likely stood for Alpha. This version is actually available for play at the Galloping Ghost Arcade, in which they where given a board of Primal Rage 2, this version is the 2 eprom variant, while the one on MAME is the 4 eprom variant.
Time has moved for years and the gods where still raging without a winner. The gods kept on fighting and the continents again re arranged. The gods where accompanied by a god who decided to stay out of the first rages named Slashfang. They all started to rage for dominance of the new Urth which is now becoming much different than before. The gods would never notice the great fire or the meteor would be an egg that holds the beast of ultimate destruction, Necrosan. Necrosan is the god of darkness and he will imprison the other gods. The other gods with no other option chose humans to represent them. These humans were given the gods power and they became known as the avatars. These avatars were able to transform into the Dino-Gods for a sort time. They are there to conquer all of Urth and defeat Necrosan and free there Dino-God so they may rule the Urth.

Urth in Primal Rage 2 is completely different from Urth in Primal Rage 1. In Primal Rage 2 the game takes place on what appears to be another continent in the shape of a human skull, likely to reference the avatars like how the T-Rex skull in the first game was a reference to the Dino-Gods. This new form according to some of the endings is known as Neo Urth. When a World Domination occurs in single player then the entire world begins to turn around to reveal the old continent! This will be referenced here as Old Urth Closed, this is because the T-Rex skull is closed during this part. The Dino-Gods are then fought here, however likely due to incomplete AI for the Dino-Gods the player will only fight Sauron, Blizzard, Slashfang, and Armadon (and Sauron is incorrectly put into Abandon All Hope rather than his own stage Sauron's Seawall.) After getting a world domination here Old Urth will open up revealing the Inferno, this is where the final battle between the player and Necrosan happens. If played in a 2 player mode, the Urth will not go through the phases mentioned and will always stay on Neo Urth and when a total domination happens in 2 players the Urth will minimize towards the winning players stats to show how many Urths the player has conquered.
